Celebrating Women's Entrepreneurship Day

Here are 10 Lessons Learned:


1. Persistence, Grit, Positivity Matter. Even when it is really hard.


2. Pay it Forward, Always. Being of service to others should be the foundation of what we do.


3. Gratitude is free, share it often. It can takes only a moment to let someone know they are valued and you appreciate them.


4. Embrace Your Mistakes as a Gift. Entrepreneurship doesn't always have a roadmap for every step you need to take. Your business is unique. When a mistake happens, it is the opportunity to adjust the sails and serve others better.


5. Believe You Have What it Takes. There are so many moments for an entrepreneur that can make us question-'Is this what I should be doing?' Use the 'phone a friend' in that moment and rekindle the belief in yourself.


6. Scale and Grow with Alliances. It is the fastest way to make the biggest impact.


7. Read, Learn, Apply Yourself Daily. Be curious, ask questions, share what you discover.


8. Your Solution Must Fill A Need. Stay in tune to what your customers share is their biggest gap and look for ways to help them.


9. Don't be Afraid to Pivot. It can take several iterations to find the perfect solution.


10. Your Advisors and Team are Gold. Be sure you surround yourself with the right people who will challenge you, support your customers and provide momentum forward.
